• University School of Nursing (EUI)
The University School of Nursing at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau was created in 1953 as a Nursing School, and worked as a School of Health Technical Assistants (ATS), from 1955 until the integration of these studies at the University in 1977.
On February 17, 1978, the School of ATS of the Hospital de la Santa Cruz and Sant Pau became the University School of Nursing assigned to the UAB. At present, the main lines of the EUI are teaching, research and university extension.
Its location in the context of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona facilitates a differentiated role, and favors the relationship between the teaching and health care field and at the same time allows to develop a model of practices referent at the national level.

It offers a health care model that covers neurodevelopment and learning disorders, language pathology and neuropsychology.
As a teaching center linked to the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau - Autonomous University of Barcelona, the ECNPL Academy offers its different teaching units, a wide educational offer of the first level in the fields of neuropsychology, neuroscience, and speech therapy. Our programs incorporate an extensive range of face-to-face practices and rotation programs.
It maintains a strong link and commitment to research and, therefore, from the different units, it coordinates, leads, and executes research projects in the different areas of knowledge that the ECNPL covers.
• Family Therapy School
It was born during the eighties, in the psychotherapy unit of the Psychiatry Service of the Hospital de Sant Pau.
The school was founded by Juan Luis Linares and Carmen Campo, which make converge the pressed systemic influences of figures such as Minuchin, Sluzki and Colapinto in their visits to Barcelona in the late seventies, and the rooms of Juan Luis Linares in Palo Alto, Milan, and Rome in the early 1980s.
Systemic thinking in the school is nurtured by the structural and communicational foundations of family therapy and developed in a clinical-psychiatric and university education context. To this, a social and critical sensibility was added, remainder of the years before the struggle for psychiatric reform.
Our main objective is to train students for systemic interventions in non-clinical contexts (Social, educational, health, judicial, institutional...) and, especially, their vocational training in family and partner therapy.
