BREAST CANCER FUNCTIONAL UNIT (BCFU)

The main objective of the Breast Cancer Functional Unit is to achieve a rapid and accurate diagnosis, followed by consensus for the most effective treatment with the lowest morbidity. It also significantly reduces the time between diagnosis and treatment, improves clinical results, and has a positive impact on patient survival, providing more comprehensive and personalized care.

The Breast Cancer Functional Unit integrates all the specialists who take part in the diagnosis and therapy of this type of tumor, with the aim of creating a fast, smooth, quality flow of care, while ensuring that patients have clear, accurate, uniform, and concise information regarding their process from the outset.
