Informative sessions about giving birth in Hospital Sant Pau
These sessions will feature the participation of midwives, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and gynecologists. The professionals will address various topics related to childbirth (operation of the delivery room, labor care processes, pain management techniques, epidural analgesia, complicated delivery, cesarean section, and newborn care).

Informative workshop about natural birth
We will talk about our work philosophy at Sant Pau, the team’s mission, how we monitor the baby, the examinations, the use of pain relief methods, the use of medication, eating and drinking during labour and other topics of interest.

ASSIR Guinardó Parenting Group
This two-hour-long session addresses topics of interest for parents, ideally in the first few months, when the majority of doubts and insecurities arise. Some of the topics addressed are food, basic care, sleep and rest, bonding and safety of the baby.

ASSIR Guinardó Post-Natal Group
This is a closed group, and it consists of 5 sessions. Each of the sessions will cover a relevant topic in post-partum such as breastfeeding, adapting to the new life situation, methods of contraception, pelvic floor exercises, baby massage, among others.

CAP Maragall Breastfeeding Support Group
This is an open group that you can attend without needing to make a previous appointment. Different professionals and experienced mothers share their knowledge and personal experience to help and advise first-time parents.

Tarda Jove
This resource provides support to young women aged 25 or younger about any sexual and reproductive health matter, including pregnancy. It is held at ASSIR Guinardó every Wednesday.
