Travel disruptions due to the Tour de France (2 July)
Due to the Tour de France, there will be traffic restrictions and disruptions to public transport, particularly on 2 July, in the area around Hospital de Sant Pau.
Hospital activities will continue as normal, and access to the hospital will be guaranteed for patients, visitors and staff.
We recommend planning your journey in advance, using public transport or walking whenever possible, and checking the official channels of Barcelona City Council and TMB before travelling.
- Metro L2: Sagrada Família Station – Trains will pass through the station without stopping from 1:00 pm until the end of the event.
- Metro L5: Sagrada Família Station – The station will remain open, but the lifts will be out of service and the Provença-Marina entrance hall will be closed from 1:00 pm onwards. Access will be via the Sardenya and Plaça de la Sagrada Família entrances, which may be subject to temporary access restrictions depending on passenger numbers.
- Metro L4/L5: Verdaguer Station – The interchange between the two lines remains closed due to engineering works until October.
- Autobuses: Routes D50, H8, H10, V21, V23, 19, 33, 34, 47, 117, 191, 192, 100 and 101 will be affected and may be diverted or operate with modified routes due to mobility restrictions.
