Unitat Docent Medicina Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB)

The UAB Faculty of Medicine Teaching Unit at Sant Pau, linked to the Hospital since 1968, provides excellent medical education in a real hospital environment.

Students learn through direct contact with professionals and patients, integrating theory with clinical practice from the very beginning in a leading university hospital.

This educational model enables students to acquire clinical, communication and decision-making skills in real-life contexts, preparing future doctors for a complex and constantly evolving healthcare system.

Institut d'FP Sanitària Sant Pau

The Institut d’FP Sanitària Sant Pau was created thanks to an agreement between the Barcelona Education Consortium, the Government of Catalonia, Barcelona City Council, the Healthcare Management Foundation and the Private Foundation of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, and is located within the Hospital’s historic site.

It is part of the Sant Pau Learning Campus, together with the UAB Faculty of Medicine and the University School of Nursing, in a unique environment that integrates education and clinical practice.

It offers the full range of vocational education in the healthcare sector: from initial training and professional certificates to intermediate and higher vocational training programmes, as well as continuing education for active professionals.

With nearly 450 students each year, the institute was created to respond to the growing demand for healthcare and care professionals.

Escola Universitària d’Infermeria (EUI)

The Escola Universitària d’Infermeria de Sant Pau, dating back to 1953, offers a degree programme closely linked to clinical practice within a leading university hospital.

Students are trained in a real clinical environment, working alongside expert professionals and actively participating in patient care.

This model integrates knowledge, practice and values, and prepares highly qualified nurses to meet the current needs of the healthcare system.

Escola Clínica de Neuropsicologia i Patologia del Llenguatge (ECNPL)

The Escola Clínica de Neuropsicologia i Patologia del Llenguatge de l’Hospital de Sant Pau is affiliated with the UAB and is a reference centre in neuropsychology, neurosciences and speech therapy with a strong clinical and educational track record.

It offers specialised and practical training in neurodevelopmental disorders, learning difficulties, language disorders and clinical neuropsychology, through a model based on real clinical experience.

The programmes include in-person placements and rotations in specialised clinical environments, enabling participants to gain direct experience with patients and multidisciplinary teams.

The school maintains a strong connection with research, developing and leading projects that connect clinical practice with advances in knowledge in these disciplines.

Escola de Teràpia Familiar

The Escola de Teràpia Familiar de l’Hospital de Sant Pau was established in the 1980s within the Psychotherapy Unit of the Psychiatry Department and has become a reference centre for systemic training.

We offer specialised training in family and couples therapy, with a practical approach based on clinical experience and an understanding of the complexity of human relationships.

We train professionals to work in a variety of settings, including healthcare, social services, education, judicial and institutional environments, with tools relevant to real world.

The combination of experience, academic rigour and strong links to clinical practice makes this school a unique educational environment.
