2025, a year to consolidate Sant Pau’s transformation
2025 has been a year of progress, growth and transformation for Hospital de Sant Pau. In an increasingly demanding and complex healthcare context, we have continued to move forward with determination to strengthen our model as a leading university hospital, committed to excellence in healthcare, research, teaching and innovation.
Our mission remains clear: to achieve the best health outcomes with the best possible experience for users, making a significant contribution to the advancement of medicine. This purpose guides the work of the more than 4,500 professionals who are part of Sant Pau and who, day after day, contribute to provide care that is increasingly humane, safe, personalised and based on rigour and knowledge.
Throughout this year, we have continued to promote transformative projects that strengthen our healthcare capacity, foster professional development, incorporate new technologies and consolidate a culture focused on quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
Digital transformation, the promotion of the Learning Campus, the development of new spaces and models of care, as well as our commitment to research and knowledge transfer, have been some of the strategic areas that have shaped this year.
The data presented in this report reflects the scale of the activity carried out during 2025, but also explains a much more relevant reality: our ability to move forward without losing our essence.
This report is therefore a reflection of a year of shared effort, challenges achieved and new opportunities. An exercise in transparency that highlights the work of all the people who make Sant Pau possible and enables us to continue looking towards the healthcare of the future with ambition, responsibility and a commitment to serving society.
Because transforming healthcare is, above all, about transforming the way we care for people.
