At Hospital de Sant Pau, through the Learning Campus, we offer continuing professional development courses for professionals, either from the Hospital or from external organisations, aimed at updating knowledge and strengthening clinical and professional skills.
Training for Sant Pau Professionals: Annual Training Plan
The Hospital offers continuing professional development courses to help professionals update their knowledge and improve their skills, with the aim of providing high-quality care to patients.
This training is organised through the Annual Training Plan, designed according to professionals’ needs.
The Annual Training Plan is organised into 8 training areas according to the key competencies of Sant Pau professionals:
- Core competencies: interpersonal, digital and generic skills common to the entire organisation.
- Technical competencies: adapted according to clinical or non-clinical professional profiles.
- Professional competencies: focused on areas such as management, research or teaching.

Sant Pau Docent: Training for External Professionals
We encourage Hospital professionals to share their expertise, contributing to the development of the healthcare community at national and international levels.
The training is based on real cases and challenges, promotes collaboration across disciplines and places emphasis on practical skills and clinical processes.
We also offer high-fidelity simulation and clinical skills training, with the support of the Sant Pau Simulation and Clinical Skills Unit.
In addition, we develop interactive online content to facilitate flexible learning adapted to the needs of professional.
