625th anniversary of Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau

625 anys millorant la salut i la vida de les persones

625 years improving people’s health and lives

625 years ago, on 15 March 1401, the four hospitals in Barcelona joined forces to create the Hospital de la Santa Creu, the forerunner of the current Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau.

Since then, it has been a leading hospital, pioneering many of the major advances in medicine in our country. A legacy that continues today, with Sant Pau at the forefront of care, research, and medical innovation.

Our 625th anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate our journey so far and, at the same time, look to the future with the same commitment: continue advancing to improve people’s health and lives.
