These awards aim to publicly recognize the best Primary Care center, the best hospital, and the best services and units in the national territory, both public and private, that seek excellence in the care they provide to their patients. Dra. Míriam Mateo, director of the Emergency Unit, and Laia Casas, supervisor of the Emergency Service, have collected the award at the official ceremony of the BIC2023 Awards. -

The Frailty Care Program of the Emergency Service of the Hospital de Sant Pau, awarded by the International Hospital Federation.
The Hospital has received the Gold Award for Excellence in Patient Quality and Safety from this organization at its 46th annual Congress, which is taking place this week in Lisbon. The award recognizes the multidisciplinary work of the Emergency Service in this field and the networking with providers of the Integral Health Area (AIS). -

The service launches Workshops for Caregivers of frail people
Population aging is one of the main future challenges, not only for the Catalan healthcare system but also worldwide. In order to address this paradigm, the Emergency Service of the Hospital de Sant Pau has launched Workshops for Caregivers, so they can feel more confident in caring for older adults with chronic illnesses and dependency. -
